With Techs In Short Supply, Don't Let HVAC Repair Headaches Multiply - Cut Downtime With A WinAIR PFD Differential Pressure Gauge

Good help is hard to find these days, especially when it comes to fixing commercial HVAC systems.

It's never been a worse time to have a commercial HVAC system go down. A shortage of qualified HVAC technicians and a problematic parts shortage are leading to longer waits for repairs. In these challenging times, preventative action is key to minimizing the odds of operational downtime.

Taking steps to simplify and reduce the number of moving parts in your HVAC system is one way to HVAC repair headaches at bay. And many end users are now embracing Winters’ PFD WinAIR Differential Pressure Gauge for this reason.

Traditionally, two separate pressure gauges were required to measure the different inlet pressures. The PFD WinAIR Differential Pressure Gauge replaces both these gauges as a single unit. It measures both pressure inlets simultaneously and presents the differential pressure on a single gauge face.

This not only eliminates the need to do time-consuming calculations from readings on two gauges, it also greatly simplifies the number of moving parts an HVAC system requires to function.

This diaphragm-actuated, resistance-free pressure gauge can be used for measuring positive, negative or differential pressure of air and noncorrosive gases.

With a full-scale 2% accuracy rating, its precise measurements also greatly reduce wear and tear on other HVAC parts in the systems where it is installed. The PFD has already found great success in many applications, including filtration equipment, ventilation and duct systems, clean rooms, fans and blowers, paint booths and dust collectors.

The PFD is available in a broad range of pressures from very low “H2O to 150″ H2O, including a variety of pressure scales (“H2O, mmH2O, psi, Pa and others).

Its large 4″ dial is easy to read at any distance. And with the convenience of a lens-accessible re-zero screw, this product is field-calibratable. Its housing is constructed of industrial-grade, die-cast aluminum. It can withstand operating temperatures as hot as 150°F (60°C) and as cold temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C). A variety of accessories are available with WinAIR, including mounting adapters which come standard with the product.

As with all instruments, Winters warranties WinAIR against manufacturing defects for a full five years.
