Winters Instruments is looking for a Client Relationship Associate based in our Toronto, Ontario office.

The Client Relationship Associate will help drive sales growth in the Canadian Division. This self-motivated individual will be responsible for maintaining contact with accounts as assigned and support the field sales team as necessary as part of the sales process. In addition, this well-spoken, goal-oriented individual will play an instrumental role in identifying and contacting prospects to articulate Winter’s value proposition. A technical knowledge of mechanical systems and instrumentation is highly desirable and will be considered an asset for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Contact existing customers to maintain relationships: check-in on ‘stale’ accounts, follow-up on past requests and quotes, provide marketing materials, etc.
• Identify and cold call new potential targets in Winters focus sales areas to drive new leads.
• Manage opportunity tracking and contact databases and provide support to outside sales team.
• Communicate with clients regarding services, the customer experience, potential problems, etc.
• Monitor client behavior, identify trends in order volume and value and flag issues, as relevant.
• Coordinate with the sales team to recommend and schedule in-person customer visits.
• Build deeper connections between customers and Winters to increase customer loyalty.
• Provide a weekly activity report and monthly management report.
• Communicate and interact with other Winters resources, both of the Sales team and in other functions (e.g., Business Development, Marketing, etc.).

• Aggressive, passionate and driven in your approach to succeed.
• A college or university education would be considered an asset.
• Sales experience in the Industrial Instrumentation market.
• Experience in using a customer relationship management tool.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow-through and follow-up.
• Superior organizational and communications skills.
• Performs well in a fast-paced environment and can multitask with ease.
